  1. Permitting Access to Analytics Objects via Alma User Name

    Accessing Analytics objects is only controlled via roles, and that makes it almost impossible to set permission for a certain report to a single colleague or even a limited number of colleagues. Thus access is granted either for a large number of persons, or just somebody with a high level of permissions (administrators).

    Our workaround is mostly using scheduled reports, which can be distributed via email address or Alma user name, but a similar approach should be there for non-scheduled Analytics objects from the Analytics menu.

  2. Alma Analytics: Usage Data Subject Area

    In Alma Design Analytics, add "Fund Ledger" to the folders in the "Usage Data" Subject Area. Collections staff want to be able to look up titles they have ordered out of their "Fund Ledger Codes" and see how much they have been used, especially TotalItemRequests. The decimal-point breakdowns of usage in the "Cost Usage" folder in the "E-Inventory" Subject Area are too confusing/convoluted, and only use UniqueTitle/ItemRequests.

  3. Expand Number of User Identifiers in Analytics

    In Alma Analytics, when running User analyses, only two user Identifier options are made available under the Users | User Details subject area. Each of these two Identifier options can be associated with a single user identifier type by Ex Libris, requiring that a case be opened with Ex Libris to change that association as needed. Given that there is no limit to the number of user record identifier types in Alma for an institution, having only two user identifiers readily available in Analytics is very limiting and inefficient.   4. Add invoice vendor to Analytics

    Add the invoice "Vendor" field to analytics; currently only the invoice "Vendor Account" code and description seem to be available via Funds Expenditure-Invoice Line.

  5. Add permanent location code or name to fulfillment analytics

    Under Alma Analytics we want to request that Ex Libris add the field of permanent location code or name to the fulfillment area of analytics. We need to be able to grab the count of items in a library and how many of those items (held) in that library have circulated by any mean (resource sharing, digitization, loan, etc.).   7. Primo measure for number of Quick Link titles

    Role: for deep analytics user and system administrator.

    Proposed feature: Create a Primo measure in Analytics for the number of titles with a Quick Link, denote either PDF or HTML and also allow for method of purchase: OA, purchased or subscribed. It would be helpful to exclude any quick link generated from Unpaywall or create a separate measure if necessary.

    It would be nice to find shared dimensions in left menu in a different color, not the same blue.

  10. Choose start month in Alma Analytics schedule

    Alma Analytics has been improved by a lot in ways of scheduling reports. But I am still missing a way to choose a start month when scheduling a quarterly or bimonthly report.

    You can choose a recurrence pattern (eg. monthly, recur every nth month), but there is no way to choose a month for the next run. Each change in recipients or touching the analytics object may start a new interval.

    When choosing a weekly interval, you can also choose a weekday. An option for choosing a month should be added for monthly schedules.

  11. Include "On Hold Expiration Date" to "Physical Items"

    Please include the "On Hold Expiration Date" from the Alma Physical Items Search to the Analytics field "Physical Items"

    To elaborate upon why this is needed:

    A title was ordered on February 8th. The "Hold Shelf expiration date" is set for February 23rd. According to the terms of use, 10 working days are correctly taken into account. However, the "Days on Hold Shelf" value displays 14 days, as weekends and holidays are included in this calculation.   13. Analytics shared dimension

    Hi,
    We would like to be able to create a report showing remaining charges listed by user and include the block reason.

    The charge data is in subject area "Fines and Fees" and the block reason is in subject area "Users".

    We raised this as a case (06837145) but were told it's not possible without a shared dimension, this is the request to create that shared dimension.

  14. Make “Public access model for “Owned” purchase model” retrievable in Analytics query

    When an Ebook Central ebook in the CZ is both owned and available in a subscribed subscription collection, the unlimited users license appears in the portfolio tab Acquisitions/Public Access model, and the number of users for the owned copy appears in "Public access model for "Owned" purchase model." Analytics cannot report out '“Public access model for “Owned” purchase model” in any case. All I can get is Public Access Model.   15. Data visualization to include export to Excel/CSV function

    Currently users without Design analytic role can use Data visualization(DV) reports but they can only export report in PDF, powerpoint. It would be very useful to have an export of data in Excel or CSV.

  16. Add Activation Status to the Funds Expenditure Area in Analytics

    We want to be able to create more complex data retrievals of our eresources based on activation status and filter these by various facets such as fund code. We have thousands of portfolios and it's not feasible to search for these on Alma when an analytics report would take seconds to create. For example, I was asked to provide a quick report listing every Journal we have on our largest budget code with an activation status of "Not activated E-Resource" by fiscal year.

  17. Distinguish blank cells in Usage Reports

    Hello, currently when creating an analytics report in alma for usage date harvested from SUSHI some months in their cell appear as blank. Can it be possible for these blank cells if they have 0 usages to be reported as the number 0? That way we can distinguish between what had 0 usages vs what was an error in gathering the data.

  18. Filtering a report based on a user set

    Right now if you want to filter a report on a user set...

    1. Run a search in Alma and save to a set
    2. Export the list, using Excel.
    3. Manipulate the needed field (e.g. of barcodes), to be stored in one row, with semicolon separating them (e.g. 365704-340;365704-350).
    4. Copy this list as a row to be used as a filter in Analytics

    I would like Alma smart enough, when I click on filter to simply supply the user set I created.

    We'd like to be able to see analytics data for resource sharing requests placed via Course Reserves citations. We are told by Support that this is not currently supported, and it was suggested that we create an idea here.

  20. Add a timestamp to 'modification date' for physical items and holdings in Physical Items area.

    The timestamp and date of 'delete date' for physical items/holdings can only be found in "Manage Deleted Repository' in Alma.

    It is good to have the timestamp appeared at the field 'modification date' of physical items/holdings in Analytics. It is particularly helpful when getting records of deleted items/holdings for weeding report.
