  1. don't mark zero usage SUSHI reports as invalid

    When SUSHI harvests a report that has no usage for the selected dates, it is labeled as invalid. This is misleading. As long as all the correct headings for the report are in place, the report should be considered valid.

  2. Possibility for turning off Auto-Assigning in task list when opening or editing an item without completing the task in the Alma Config.

    When working in several different task-lists in Alma, you are automatically assigned to any Item that you open and/or edit and exit out of without completing the task. This applies to items in the Purchase Request, Invoices (in Review) and Electronic Activation Task list and more.

    This may be perfectly logical for certain institutions' workflows, but for others it may be cumbersome to have this across all task lists.

    It would be great to have the ability to turn this auto-assigning on or off for the different task lists in the Alma Configuration so that people could open/edit and close…

  3. Improve financial forecasting of subscriptions

    It would nice to have more functionality in terms of subscription financial forecasting.

    Although we can roll over subscriptions with a blanket % increase, we would like to be able to input and overwrite this where we know price increases will differ.

    In addition, where we know the increases for multi-year agreements, these can all be set in advance, allowing for more accurate encumbrance figures.

  4. Allow different configuration of Interested User emails for ebook orders

    Currently the automatic email for the Interested User of an ebook order isn't triggered until the status of the order changes from 'Sent' to 'Waiting for Invoice'.
    It would be beneficial if we could configure the emails differently to allow an alternative trigger eg the activation date.

    This would eliminate the current considerable delays between the ebook being available and the sending of the email.

  5. add next year as option in serials subscription date range picker

    As many serials subscription ranges begin with the next calendar year, add NEXT YEAR as an option in the Subscription Date Range date picker. NEXT YEAR would start 1/1/[NEXTCALENDARYEAR] and end 12/31/[NEXTCALENDARYEAR].

  6. batch move license inventory

    I would like to batch move license e-inventory on licenses and amendments to another license/amendment.

    Currently, you can move e-inventory to a different license one at at time. It would save time to select inventory to move to a different license in bulk.

  7. Vendor contacts need phone extension added

    When adding a new contact to the vendor location, there could be numerous people using the same base number, but with different extensions. Can you add a space to allow entering the extension?

  8. Receiving note for electronic resources

    It would be fantastic if a receiving note option was included for electronic resources as it is for print resources (a field which can be extracted for analytics). The current notes field can not be accessed via analytics and it is therefore difficult to track trends in usage, information about cohorts using different resources, reasons for purchasing, etc.

  9. The default receiving status in manage items of receiving workbench is all and it should be not received or should be configurable

    As part of the new prediction pattern development it is possible in the receiving workbench to receive new items and filter the 'manage items' section by "all" "received" or "not received".
    Currently it defaults to "all" which is not what would be desired because
    A. it would show too much
    B. they would need to manually search for what they want to receive.

    It should default to "not received" because then they can choose the issue they have in hand and receive it. Another option would be to have it always remember the previous filter of the user and use…

  10. Enable embedding fund balance graphs and data on Alma Home Screen

    Fund balance data from Analytics is inaccurate as data is piped in to Analytics on a daily basis, making fund balance widgets created in Analytics less useful for checking available balances. We would like to request the ability to quickly access up-to-the moment fund and available balances available under each fund under Acquisitions > Funds and Ledgers > Fund > Reports in home page widgets. This would enable staff placing order to check live fund balances easily on a regular basis.

  11. Add usage statistics -field for other statistics than Counter

    A need for a new Usage Statistics -field that could be used for usage statistics other than Counter. Smaller e-journal etc. publishers don't have Sushi statistics but libraries collect usage data another way. The new usage statistics field should be for every year. The Usage Statistics -field should work on the Analytics. Statistics notes -field is also required.

  12. Adding 'citation type' to the facet in Resource Sharing Borrowing/Lending Request

    Though I can distinguish book and article using other facets such as requested form, I think that citation type(book/article)is going to be more intuitive and useful. In addition, because I found it possible to use citation type as a facet in Acquisitions, including it in Resource Sharing is also proper considering coherence or unity of facets. I hope it is added soon.

  13. Accrual Accounting>Add Ability to Manually Edit Accrual Amounts

    Alma calculates accrual percentages based on days, while we have always calculated the percentages/amounts based on months. That creates problems when we manually calculate an invoice outside of Alma, and then try to re-create it in Alma. We have had instances in which we have different amounts in Alma and with our business office as we could not enter the amounts manually in Alma. It would be really helpful to be able to manually edit amount fields for both fiscal years.

  14. Search more than one POL at a time

    The new feature of the october 2018 release made it possible to receive several POLs at once by selecting the desired POLs. We usually have a very large number of POLs and can't filter them by any more details. That makes finding the wanted POLs difficult.
    We would like to be able to search for more than one POL at that point.

  15. Add a Notes field to SUSHI accounts

    We would like to see a Note field in the SUSHI account area. There are situations where a SUSHI account is set up but Inactive, and it would be nice to have a field where we can describe the situation.

    For example, Taylor & Francis Ebooks. It's a new platform (Nov 2017) and Ex Libris has added them to their list of SUSHI vendors. However, I've contacted the publisher and their SUSHI isn't quite ready yet. It would be nice to have a field right in the SUSHI settings where I could note that.

  16. Generate Feedback Message with Link to E-Resource Activation Task

    When creating an e-activation task for an electronic inventory item directly from the portfolio or collection, the feedback message contains only an informational message that the task was completed but does not contain a link to the task on the E-Resource Activation Task List. We would like to see a feedback message that would include a direct link to the task so that the user can then handle the task (for example, assign the task to themselves or to others.)

  17. Finished claiming job does not give the library the option to check which vendors received a claim letter

    When a claiming job is finished running in Alma you can view “events” from the finished job. This gives a line for each claim processed in the job, and lists three different identifiers: JOBID, POLINEID and VENDORID. None of these identifiers are searchable for the library, and the library then have no option to control what letters were sent in that specific job. If the identifiers listed in the job events were changed to the PO line reference and the vendor code the library would have the option to find the relevant POL and vendor and…

  18. Receive on order

    The only way to receive an item on order is to go into the Receive function within Acquisitions and this requires that you have a known POL or browse through the list but that is not a viable option for the amount of orders we have open. The bulk of our materials come on approval so the POL is created in the load process and therefore not noted on the invoice and unknown. In order to receive, staff first search Alma for the correct order record and write down the POL. Then they have to go into Receive and search…

  19. Trial : request of a Trial viewer role

    There are 3 roles about Trials : administrator, operator and participant.
    But none gives access to the Trials and all information with only option to view (and not delete neither modify datas).
    A license viewer role exists in ALMA ; we request a similar Trial viewer role.

  20. Ability to remove Associated PO Lines from a POL

    If we add a POL # to the Additional section of a POL > Associated PO Lines and then discover that it was incorrect we are not able to remove it. We can change it but not remove it.

    We would like to be able to remove the Associated PO Lines if we find that we have made a mistake
