When you have inventory that is connected to multiple PO Lines, it would be great to be able to see the description of the POL from within the inventory. Currently the additional POLs are listed but you can only see a PO Line number, and you need to click into each one to see the description.5 votes
In the Acquisitions> Purchase Request> Manage Purchase Request> “In Review” requests, these are displayed in reverse order of the creation date.
It would be more useful if the default order was by creation date, that is, the oldest requests were shown in the top, so that they are managed in the first place. In this way, it would save time in their management.
Another possibility would be that the librarian could select the type of ordering of the requests.14 votes
When adding an invoice line for a POL which has subscription date it would be useful if there was an option to copy the POL Subscription dates to the ‘Subscription Dates Range’ in the invoice line rather than having to enter it. Especially if there are multiple invoice lines it would speed up entering the data and avoid errors.24 votes
For ONIX-PL to actually save time, more variables has to be supported.

Under the note tab gets filled up with "The PO Line has renewed automatically on (renewal date) by the system" as each year passes. This note should be in the history tab. The note field should be about important information pertaining to the subscription only.1 vote

Currently when receiving an item back ordered item (ordered 4 but received 1) the process is you receive just the one and the invoice just the one item. But when the other 3 items have been received Alma is closing the POL once they have been received? This is causing issues as the Supervisor must then delete the invoice and unreceive the item and start again. After checking all the learning material and ex-Libris/Alma videos there is no way for a person to be doing this and the Pals from the area have even watched the whole process and it is being done correctly. This is very stressful and I would like to know why this is occurring and if anyone else has had this issue.

When reviewing claims, we would like to be able to prioritize claiming by recent titles. There is currently no way to filter claims by order date, short of exporting the search results. Adding order date or other date filters would improve efficiency.
Additionally, we often have to claim outside of Alma, but there is no way to add a claim to the communications tab without sending an email. Adding a 'do not send claim' type button, such as existed in Aleph, would allow for keeping all claims communications in one location.3 votes
The Usage sections of Alma are extremely slow. Please improve the overall performance of the Usage Data Loader, and especially the Missing Data Tab (which can take multiple minutes to load). Also, create a Usage search option in the general Alma search for such things as:
Data Start Date
Data End Date

Adding a field in the Excel file under batch process that allows for inputting custom exchange rates. The reason for this is because the invoice creation date may not always be on the same day as payment, resulting in outdated rates.61 votes
It would be fantastic if a receiving note option was included for electronic resources as it is for print resources (a field which can be extracted for analytics). The current notes field can not be accessed via analytics and it is therefore difficult to track trends in usage, information about cohorts using different resources, reasons for purchasing, etc.19 votes
When adding a new invoice line, it will be very useful to add a small box that shows percentage increase since last year's invoice line price.
That way we can check the price increase since last year while adding an invoice.3 votes
We'd really like the ability to facet in PO Lines by the Secondary & Tertiary Reporting Code fields. It's possible to facet by the main Reporting Code but not by the other two reporting codes.4 votes
Adding user information in a separate column can show who performed the transaction (relevant for allocation and transfer of funds).

Currently, invoice owner cannot be changed once the invoice Summary tab has been saved.
If a user creates a manual invoice and mistakenly saves this tab with the wrong owner, the invoice needs to be deleted and recreated.
If an EDI invoice loads with the wrong owner due to an issue with one or more lines, the invoice needs to be deleted and reloaded.
This is inefficient, particularly when an invoice with many line items needs to be deleted and manually reentered. Please add the ability to change invoice owner to an appropriate value.17 votes

Currently the POLs could be modified even if the status is closed. In order to prevent the mistake we wish that the closed pol can not be modified and have a view function for the closed POLs.2 votes
We would like inventory to be linked to multiple licenses. Some resources are licensed with two entities...the content provider and the access provider. An example of this is APA. If we choose to have our APA content hosted by another provider (which is an option), we must have a license with both APA (content provider) and the access provider.
Currently, we need to choose only one license to link the inventory to. Which one do we choose?94 votes
We would like to be able to more easily update our POL templates. As far as I can tell, you need to create a new order, make adjustments in the POL, and then Save As Template - overwriting the old template. There should be an easier process.9 votes
