  1. Set the sender address to the address of the staff that made the PO and automatically forward the mail to the said staff.

    With multiple librarians handling PO, this can help us keep better track of PO details and increase process efficiency.

  2. Adding a field in the Excel Example of Creating Invoice from File.

    Adding a field in the Excel file under batch process that allows for inputting custom exchange rates. The reason for this is because the invoice creation date may not always be on the same day as payment, resulting in outdated rates.

  3. Receiving note for electronic resources

    It would be fantastic if a receiving note option was included for electronic resources as it is for print resources (a field which can be extracted for analytics). The current notes field can not be accessed via analytics and it is therefore difficult to track trends in usage, information about cohorts using different resources, reasons for purchasing, etc.

  4. Add invoice price increase from last year's invoice

    When adding a new invoice line, it will be very useful to add a small box that shows percentage increase since last year's invoice line price.
    That way we can check the price increase since last year while adding an invoice.

  5. Facet for PO Lines Secondary & Tertiary Reporting Codes

    We'd really like the ability to facet in PO Lines by the Secondary & Tertiary Reporting Code fields. It's possible to facet by the main Reporting Code but not by the other two reporting codes.

  6. Add user information column to funds transactions tab

    Adding user information in a separate column can show who performed the transaction (relevant for allocation and transfer of funds).
    That way any transaction can be traced back to a specific user.

  7. Ability to change invoice owner

    Currently, invoice owner cannot be changed once the invoice Summary tab has been saved.

    If a user creates a manual invoice and mistakenly saves this tab with the wrong owner, the invoice needs to be deleted and recreated.

    If an EDI invoice loads with the wrong owner due to an issue with one or more lines, the invoice needs to be deleted and reloaded.

    This is inefficient, particularly when an invoice with many line items needs to be deleted and manually reentered. Please add the ability to change invoice owner to an appropriate value.

  8. 建议alma在“run a job”的“Update PO Lines Information”的作业中,增加“订购开始日期、续订日期、续订提醒天数”这些操作项,从而实现对订单批添加这些字段信息

    鉴于现在在ALMA中下订的期刊订单,我们全部都需要给每一种期刊的订单人工去更新和填写续订字段的信息,

    工作量比较繁重。我的想法是建议alma在“run a job”的“Update PO Lines Information”的作业中,增加“订购开始日期、续订日期、续订提醒天数”这些操作项,从而实现对订单批添加这些字段信息(目前的“Update PO Lines Information”已经有“手工续订”这个选项可以批处理,增加剩下的字段应该可以实现)。

  9. the closed pol cannot be modified

    Currently the POLs could be modified even if the status is closed. In order to prevent the mistake we wish that the closed pol can not be modified and have a view function for the closed POLs.

  10. Allow inventory to be linked to multiple licenses

    We would like inventory to be linked to multiple licenses. Some resources are licensed with two entities...the content provider and the access provider. An example of this is APA. If we choose to have our APA content hosted by another provider (which is an option), we must have a license with both APA (content provider) and the access provider.

    Currently, we need to choose only one license to link the inventory to. Which one do we choose?

  11. More easily edit/delete POL templates

    We would like to be able to more easily update our POL templates. As far as I can tell, you need to create a new order, make adjustments in the POL, and then Save As Template - overwriting the old template. There should be an easier process.

  12. Using "Change expected date" clears filters on "Order lines with claims"

    When using the "Order lines with claims" task it's useful to add filters, such as Purchase Type and Vendor, to refine your list of claims. However, if you use the "Change expected date" option, which should be quicker than Edit, it clears your filters once the new date is saved.

    Can you please allow the filters to remain after using the Change expected date function? Thank you

  13. Job to automate the addition of multiple POL notes

    We sometimes need to cancel or close large groups of POLs. We append notes to these to explain the closure.

    Currently, we need to add these notes to POLS one at a time.
    A function that allows us to append the same note to multiple POLs (ex. "POL closed on 12/12/18 due to package changes") at once would be extremely helpful.

  14. Apply Reporting Code from Encumbrance to Disencumbrance

    In a disencumbrance transaction, Alma does not apply the reporting code assigned to an encumbrance to the disencumbrance. Because we use the reporting codes as a part of funds allocation, this practice causes the disencumbrance to be ignored thus overreporting the encumbrance for the reporting code. Please apply the reporting code of the encumbrance being disencumbered to the transaction of the disencumbrance.

  15. Add "Purchase Type" to PO line order templates.

    It would be very helpful to have the Purchase Type included in order templates. PO lines that share criteria in other fields usually have the same Purchase Type.

  16. Sort Invoice Lines by Description

    When viewing "Invoice Lines" in "Invoice Details" it would be highly useful to be able to sort invoice lines by Description A-Z. Currently you can only sort by Line no., Price/Total Price and Status.

  17. Confirmation message when receiving items for continuous titles

    Please consider adding a confirmation message when an item for a continuous title (e.g. print serial) has been successfully received. This messaging--which would be similar to the "success" screen when checking in serials in Aleph--would make the process much clearer for student workers who often handle this task in academic libraries.

  18. Make "additional code" for vendors searchable

    Using the additional code field to track changes in the Vendor Code field make sense, but has limited use if we can not search it in any meaningful way.

  19. Option to receive from items list

    Please make it an option to receive an issue, without having to navigate away to the specific "Receiving" page, if you are looking at it on an items list. Often I'll be working on items and notice that one of them is not received when it should be, but I can't change that without interrupting my workflow or opening a new window.

  20. Add option to use hyperlink in license terms

    Add functionality to license terms displayed in Primo under "Show License" to include a hyperlink, or clickable link. It would be helpful to be able to include a URL in the list of license terms, that patrons are able to click. Our institution uses an external tool to help determine terms of use and would like to direct patrons to the tool using a link in the License Terms.
