Target/Collection: HeinOnline Current Content (Provider: Hein)
Please add this collection to the KnowledgeBase.
Journals in the HeinOnline Law Journal Library collection typically have a one year embargo. Libraries may subscribe to the most recent content of individual journals (with no embargo) through Hein's "Current Content" program. This is similar to JSTOR's Current Scholarship program. Could Ex Libris work with Hein to create and manage a HeinOnline Current Content electronic collection in the CZ, similar to the JSTOR Current Scholarship Program Complete electronic collection in the CZ?
Currently, I manage these subscriptions by updating the local coverage dates in the HeinOnline Law Journal Library electronic collection, but a separate electronic collection with correct dates in the CZ would make management of this collection more straightforward.

Thanks for the update, Rael.
What about PCI and Summon? Can you tell me if the vendor has been responsive for the indexes as well? I know there is great interest in my institution for having legal content (particularly HeinOnline) added to PCI.
Thanks you.François

One can read at https://help.heinonline.org/kb/approved-discovery-services-how-they-work-with-heinonline/ that HeinOnline has formal agreements for EBSCO Discovery Service (EDS) and Innovative's Encore Discovery Solution. So, I asked them about Primo Central Index. I recently received the following response from the HeinOnline support: "HeinOnline does not have any immediate plans to allow Ex Libris to harvest metadata from our database."
@Supporters of this idea: If you have any contact with commercial representatives, please put some pressure on them...
