Add 'activation note' to purchase order screen for electronic orders
When ordering print material it is possible to add a 'receiving note' on the order screen. This note is visible on the receiving screen.
The same feature would be beneficial to the electronic ordering workflow: an 'activation note' available on the order screen which carries through to the activation screen.

Has anyone heard when this functionality is planned? Until January of this year, we were mapping processing notes from GOBI (e.g., "Rush for course reserve" "Notify faculty member X when activated") to the PO Line Receiving Note for ebooks; although the Receiving Note didn't display in the Alma PO Line, we were able to extract it from Analytics and develop reports that could be used to prioritize ebook processing. With the January 2021 release, the ability to add a Receiving Note to an electronic PO Line was removed. We now have no way of easily mapping processing notes from external systems to our Alma ebook PO Lines. Sadness.

Hi, is there any update as to when the activation note field is likely to be made available? Thanks

Moshe et al, We think this will be a great functional addition for our ebook catalogers. Is there an update on where it is in the development cycle?? Many thanks!

This really would improve the ordering process for electronic material; it's so easy to make mistakes without this function, especially when dealing with orders for multiple licenses.

Having this option would really speed up and simplify our work process and eliminate the need for emails to be flying around and getting lost, when needed to accompany electronic orders. Great suggestion

It would greatly help with our workflows if this was possible, something similar to the 'Receiving Note' displaying when reviewing a list of purchase order lines for print orders.

This receiving note would help staff assign the ebook to reading lists. We only receive the activation note and nothing is available for this extra information. This is an excellent suggestion.
